  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (optional, for coating)

  1. Prepare Rice Krispies:
    • In a large mixing bowl, place the Rice Krispies cereal.
  2. Melt Chocolate Mixture:
    • In a medium-sized saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together. Stir continuously until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Add Vanilla Extract:
    • Remove the melted chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Combine with Rice Krispies:
    • Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Rice Krispies cereal. Gently fold until the cereal is evenly coated with the chocolate mixture.

    • Allow the mixture to cool slightly to make it easier to handle. Once it’s cool enough, take small portions and shape them into balls using your hands. Place the formed balls on a parchment paper-lined tray.
  6. Optional Powdered Sugar Coating:
    • If desired, roll the chocolate Rice Krispie balls in powdered sugar for an extra touch. This step is optional.
  7. Chill:
    • Place the tray with the formed balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow them to set.
  8. Serve:
    • Once the chocolate Rice Krispie balls have hardened, they are ready to be served. Enjoy these delicious treats!
